A big high five and THANK YOU from Butter, pictured here, and the more than 6,900 pets just like him who were placed last year because of your generous support. That includes 6,403 adoptions, 128 pets returned to their owners when lost, and 406 pets transferred to partner rescue groups - a record-breaking year for the animals in our 116-year history!

At Seattle Humane, we know every pet regardless of age, breed or beauty deserves a second, third or fourth chance at a great life. We also know our work wouldn't be possible without the dedication of our volunteers, donors and animal-loving community who passionately support our mission.
