Catapalooza Adoption Success

Once again Catapalooza was a major success. Thanks to our wonderful pet-loving community and clever promoting, this year’s shelter construction didn’t hold back cat lovers at Catapalooza (or dog people either!). This annual cat-tastic celebration resulted in 167 pet adoptions in a single weekend!

Walk scenic Green Lake with your dog to honor and help the thousands of orphaned dogs, cats, and critters who come through our doors every year at the 14th annual Walk for the Animals on Oct. 2.

Join us for a dog-friendly walk where you'll meet local celebrities, adoptable pets, fun raffles, and get your hands on great freebies! We’ll provide you with your very own fundraising page, and tips to make it easier to reach out to friends and family to raise life-saving donations.

Looking for a resident contortionist? That's Buddy! A beautiful 10-year-old red American Pit Bull Terrier mix who’s willing to contort in whatever position necessary to cuddle with you. Buddy also doesn't let age hold back his puppy personality! He loves long walks, hikes, playing, and snuggling. Buddy is amazingly obedient on walks and is wonderful with children of all ages. We’re kicking off the Seahawks home opener by kicking off $12 from all adoption fees for adopters in blue and green.
