130 CATS ADOPTED AT CATAPALOOZA Seattle Humane's celebration of cats a big success!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: August 16, 2010
The Seattle Humane Society's 6th annual cat adoption extravaganza was a success, placing 130 homeless, abandoned and surrenendered cats into loving homes of their own. Sponsored by 94.1 KMPS, Catapalooza brought together nine local adoption organizations and rescue groups for cat adoptions, prize drawings, children’s activities, and fun cat-related demonstrations and products. A big thank you to members of the community who welcomed furry friends into their families this weekend. If you couldn't make it to the event, stop by Seattle Humane in Bellevue to meet the hundreds of cats, dogs, and other critters still waiting for families of their own. We’re open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thu.-Sat. and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sun.-Wed. To see our adoptable pets online, go to seattlehumane.org.
