Calling all teens - the Seattle Humane Society is now accepting applications for the Humane Teen Club! This is a great program for teens ages 13-17 who are interested in learning about companion animal welfare and becoming volunteers at the Seattle Humane Society before they turn 18.

Accepted applicants will learn all about companion animal care and training as well as develop leadership skills. Our Humane Teen Club promotes a service ethic in teens and prepares them for volunteer service opportunities at the Seattle Humane Society.

The Humane Teen Club meets two Saturdays each month from October - June, to celebrate and explore the power of animal companionship, and the importance and benefits of the human/animal bond. Space is limited to 20 members who are chosen based on the strength of their application essays.

Click here to learn more and apply today! Application deadline is August 31, 2011.
