FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: March 7, 2012

Get $1.00 per pound off the normal $25 adoption fee for all cats one year and older at the Seattle Humane Society through March 31. The more there is to love, the greater the discount!

Many cats are surrendered to shelters overweight. Seattle Humane works hard to get unhealthy pets back in shape with a nutritious diet and daily exercise, but nothing compares to the care of a loving home environment.

Eucalyptus, a 27 lb. kitty, used to have trouble walking because of her weight. Thanks to a wholesome diet and plenty of play time, she’s on the road to a longer life and looking for someone to share it with! Help give a fuller feline a healthier life. Pets make great workout buddies and can help you stay motivated about your own health and wellness, too.

Every adoptable cat at the Seattle Humane Society has been spayed or neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. All of our cats have been tested for Feline Leukemia and go home with a certificate for an examination by the King County veterinarian of your choice, as well as their very own collar and identification tag.

Browse through our adoptable cats now at seattlehumane.org or, better yet, come visit them in person at 13212 SE Eastgate Way in Bellevue. We're open seven days a week, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sun. through Wed. and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thu. through Sat.
